Jamming in Lone Hickory

 

The small community of Lone Hickory is located about 5 miles southwest of Yadkinville, North Carolina.  The jam sessions take place every Wednesday evening at the old Steelman homeplace on Lone Hickory Road.  To get there from Yadkinville (starting near the intersection of US 421 & US601) travel south on US601 approximately 2-1/2 miles and turn right onto Lone Hickory Road.  Continue west 2-1/2 miles at the Old Homeplace is on the right - second house past Green Road...
We're picking every Wednesday....
 
Although this is an open jam, it's held on private property owned by the Steelman family.  All bluegrass pickers and fans are welcomed.  Be sure to introduce your-selves.  Have a good time and enjoy the music- but keep it straight...
 
NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED!
